Payment Information Exchange Service OhMySwift SWIFT Launches Transfer Protection Service

The transfer protection package is issued before sending - the service itself costs 350 rubles, while the amount of 1 thousand rubles is reserved on the card (in case it is necessary to solve the problems that have arisen).

If the transfer was successful, users are asked to indicate this in a special form on the site, after which 650 rubles are returned to the card.

If there is any difficulty with payment, OhMySwift consultants will provide the following services:

• determine where the funds are located;
• help draw up documents for the search for a payment in the issuing bank;
• contact the correspondent bank to expedite verification;
• issue an OFAC license if the transfer is blocked by a US bank's compliance;
• file pre-trial claims and “use other leverage” on banks to speed up the process.

If the money is not received and returned within a month, the cost of the services is fully refundable.

Entrepreneur Andrey Avramenko launched the OhMySwift mutual aid service. OhMySwift allows you to see if other users are making payments and get up-to-date information on which banks to avoid due to possible blocks.

At the end of June, the Bank of Russia raised the limit on transfers abroad for natural persons to $1 million per month. Complaints about SWIFT transfers through Tinkoff and other banks began appearing online in July. Users reported that money was debited but not sent to foreign banks, and they also complained about delays in transfers.
