Google’s partner in this project was Brookfield Asset Management, the owner of Brookfield renewable partners. A framework agreement was made on the further development of cooperation.
In addition to the energy supply agreement, Google plans to invest $ 25 billion to build and develop data processing centers in Pennsylvania and neighboring states in the next two years. These investments are associated with the growth of information processing for artificial intelligence and cloud services that require more electricity.
