M. Video Eldorado has recorded a new record for the sales of smart speakers in Russia. For the first half of 2025, the country’s residents have purchased a total of 22.2 billion rubles. This is a noticed growth compared to the same period of 2024, when 2.2 million columns were sold for 20 billion rubles.
The main player on the market is Yandex. Smart speakers occupy 86% of the total number of devices sold and 93% in monetary. In addition to Yandex, other Russian manufacturers continue to strengthen their positions. For example, the VK columns, a sound assistant Marusia, occupied 8% of the market in the number of sales and 3% of the income. Sber – Salute – devices received 6% and 3% respectively.
The growth of demand for smart speakers is explained not only with the comfort of sound management, but also by the expansion of the digital ecosystems of Russian companies. Using the solutions of Yandex, VK and Sber, more and more users are created by smart houses. This promotes the purchase of additional devices for different rooms and the expansion of existing ecosystems.
