The main difference between a new development is the completely rejection of foreign open software used to convey video streams. The program code is created by Russian experts from scratch. Next year, they plan to adapt the system to the domestic electronic component base, which will make drones completely independent of imports.
Development was carried out in the student design office with the support of Yadro. This allowed students to work with promising network technologies, including 5G elements, but the tests were still performed in 4G networks. To further improve the project, the university has already received a Russian payment computers and micro circuits from Elron Enterprises and Niima Progress.
