The crime occurred in the Sviblovo region, where the woman left alone in the warehouse, packaged the products in the bag and left the room.

The head of the company’s production of micro -circuits announced theft to the police. Records from video surveillance cameras helped to establish the suspect’s personality.

According to the Ministry of Interior, the woman was detained on 7 August, but it was not possible to find micro circuits that have been stolen so far – the suspect was able to throw them into their discretion.

In accordance with Article 158 of the Russian Federation Penal Code (especially on a large scale), a criminal case has been filed, under house arrest.

Against the background of this case, there is a general decline in the number of traditional theft in Russia and the growth of crimes using digital technologies. In 2024, almost 40% of all crimes were associated with cyber security and IT infrastructure.
