The reserve will be located on the territory of the Belovodsk region and will receive an area of more than 1000 hectares. It includes different types of land: steppes, meadows in the flood beds of rivers and the basin between Kamysh and Dercul rivers. Rare animals and plants live in this region, listed in Russia’s Red book. These include a thin -leaved peony, an insect, a owl and an ordinary throat.
The decision to create the reserve was signed by government prime minister Mikhail Mishustin. Experts will now be able to work on the protection of these natural areas and rare species.
