The new system was established in the Dusting Department of the Refinery Workshop. The main task is to reduce sulfur dioxide emissions caused by boiling layer furnaces. This is expected to reduce the problem of approximately 1 thousand tons per year.
The project was implemented with a high share of domestic equipment with 98%. For these purposes, the building is built in Russian electrostatic filter with four modern four floors. Practical studies on the project started in December 2022.
This project is part of the comprehensive ecological program of the company on Kola Peninsula, which includes 180 events. Until 2031, the total financing of the program will exceed 71.7 billion rubles.
In addition to the environmental effect, the new system will provide economic benefits. In addition, it will improve the quality of the sulfuric acid produced and return non -productive metals to production.
