For many, it is impossible to abandon the connection on the street completely and demand it “unfair”, the media is writing.

Smartphones can also turn a walk into an exciting event: applications allow you to get to know the traces of birds, plants and animals or to participate in projects to observe wildlife. Even at home, adolescents can “strengthen the connection with nature” through photographs, documentaries or sounds of the forest.

Social networks also play a role: popular blogs about walking and survival often inspire young people to try the same thing in real life. This interest can be used to discuss more complex issues – for example, a trace of environmental technology that smartphones do and how much AI consumes.

Scientists believe that they are worth teaching adolescents to use technologies, thus helping to open and appreciate the world around them.
