In one of the issues, the host of the DimaViper Live channel presented an overview of two devices from Xiaomi. These are the Redmi 9A launched in 2020 and the Redmi 10A, which appeared more recently.
The hardware of the device has not changed at all. Along with 9A you have a 10W charger and a cable. And the same is in the box with the new 10A. In terms of dimensions, the models are also absolutely identical.
First of all, it should be noted that a fingerprint scanner appeared on the 10A. Xiaomi Redmi 9A did not have any.
Faster, new and old model has been released. Perhaps this is because the amount of memory in the Redmi 9A version is 2/32 GB in 10A – 4/64 GB.
The screens of the devices are also exactly the same. All features are the same. However, 9A still runs on Android 10, but Android 11 runs on 10A.
The processor is the same in both cases. This is the MediaTek Helio G25. By itself, it’s already pretty weak and pretty outdated. The only thing that changes is the amount of memory. 10A instead of 2/32 GB already costs 4/64 GB. In all tests, smartphones behave approximately the same. You can see all the results below.
In terms of cameras, there are almost no changes. Both devices have a 13MP main camera and a 5MP front camera. Sample pictures are below.
Redmi 9A and 10A are very similar, almost identical. The time difference between them is already two years. It turns out that such budget-friendly smartphones from Xiaomi are almost the same, although they rarely come out.
