According to the commission, some video materials were not recorded as children’s content. This made it possible to collect information about the spectators under the age of 13 and use it to show targeted ads. The complaint says Disney’s actions violated the American law on the protection of children’s online.
According to the rules, all sites and online services focusing on children under the age of 13 are required to inform the parents about which data collected and consent.
If the judicial agreement is directed towards this audience, it forces to bring a special sign system to correct the cylinders correctly as a child.
Disney stressed that the claims are not only the company’s own digital platforms, but only the content is placed on YouTube.
