Biologist Victor Ortega Himenes examined how insects accelerated and sharply returned with water. He found that the waves of the legs appeared in contact with water and changed the form depending on the current.
The Ortega team created artificial factories for the robot robot that works at the same principle. They are connected to the middle legs and automatically opened in water without an additional source of energy and closed outside. In this way, the rhagobot moves faster, makes sharp turns and saves energy.
