Compared to the battery in the iPhone atmosphere, the Magsafe battery appeared, although not the same. Both batteries have a capacity of 12.26 W and a thickness of 2.72 mm, which allows them to integrate into the iPhone air storage with a thickness of 5.6 mm.
However, there is a restriction: Magsafe battery can only provide up to 65%of the iPhone air charging. This is due to natural energy loss during wireless transmission.
It is noteworthy that the Magsafe battery has a slightly larger thickness compared to the iPhone air chassis. IFIXIT assumes that this increase in thickness is minimum and necessary to ensure the functionality of the device. Magsafe battery is covered with plastic material and does not have a metal frame feature of the iPhone air.
