The development was created by OKB im designers. A. Lyulki – branch of ODK-UMPO in Ufa. The universal compressor will be used in engines with 25, 32 and 42 MW power. It allows you to adapt units to operate in compressor stations without significant design changes, reducing the costs and time required for modernization of gas transport equipment.
A mock-up of the AL-41ST-25 engine and the first prototype of the new compressor were presented at the forum. Tests of the second sample were carried out in April 2025, and the pilot study is being carried out at the Arskaya compressor station in Tatarstan.
The AL-41ST-25 engine has a high efficiency of 39%, the possibility of increasing it to 40%, a power of 25.6 MW and resistance to high temperatures. The modular design and compact dimensions enable quick installation and maintenance, and the life of the unit reaches 120,000 hours, which can be extended to 150,000 hours.
