Samsung has invested heavily in high-resolution camera sensors. While the manufacturer still does not use these technologies in their mobile phones, the 200 MP Isocell sensors have created controversy. Now, a new company patent has been discovered and may show a future sensor with an incredible 450MP resolution.
The patent in question appeared at registries in South Korea and the United Kingdom. GalaxyClub. It refers to a new sensor technology called for Samsung. hexa2 pixelsand does not go into further details.

Despite a few details revealed by the registry, possible solutions have been speculated from the name of the technology. Currently, Isocell HP1 and HP3 sensors use this technology. tetra2 pixelsIt can convert 200 MP resolution to 50 MP with 4 x 4 pixel combinations.
Following the logic of the names, Hexa2pixel technology can then combine pixels into 6 x 6. From here, the total resolution of the unblended pixels is estimated to be 450 MP.
Of course, this is all speculative. In addition to the fact that the decision is not official information, not every patent a company registers actually results in a finished product. So we’ll have to wait a little longer to see.
