Bazzite has an interface adapted for game controllers and allows you to flexibly control device parameters, from processor power to fan speed. Developers are also working to support RGB lighting.

One of the main advantages of the new operating system is its quick wake-up from sleep mode: the console returns to the game almost instantly, while Windows takes longer.

According to the test results, battery life was generally similar, but the Bazzite was slightly more energy efficient. Under low load (in indie games), the device lasted up to eight hours, and in large projects, about two and a half hours.

In terms of performance, the difference is striking:

  • Kingdom Come Liberation 2 — 62 FPS on Bazzite, 47 FPS on Windows.

  • Hogwarts Legacy — 62 FPS and 50 FPS respectively.
