In beta version of WhatsApp* (*belongs to Meta, recognized as extremist and banned in Russia) There is a new feature that allows users to see how much space each individual chat takes up and manage the files in them.
In the “Chat Information” section, the “Manage Storages” item appears. Here you can check the size of the correspondence and delete only media files or messages without affecting other chats.
For now, the function is available only in the beta version of the messenger. It is unknown when it will become available to everyone.
