Starting July 27, VTB will offer money transfers to Vietnam in Vietnamese Dong. The service can be used by natural and legal persons. The translation itself will take place during the day.
The client will need to open an account in the Vietnamese national currency at VTB in advance, then enter the data and details of the recipient in Vietnam, Vedomosti reported.
The service will be available both at the mobile bank and at the VTB office. The maximum amount of one transaction is 20 million rubles, there is no minimum amount, the commission will be 1% of the transfer amount.
Experts say that Russian banks see prospects in the Asia-Pacific region, and the development of payments there is facilitated by parallel imports and exporter interest.
