Sberbank, Tinkoff Bank, Alfa-Bank, Russian Railways and 400 other organizations have lost the status of an accredited IT company. The Mintsifra explained the exclusion from the list by the inconsistency of its activities with the declared criteria.

The exclusion of 400 organizations from the list of accredited IT companies is reported on the website of the Ministry of Digital Development.

150 budget institutions, 32 banks, insurance companies and other companies have lost the status of an accredited IT company. In particular, these are Sberbank, Alfa-Bank, Tinkoff Bank, Otkritie, Yandex Bank, Russian Railways, Delimobil, Rostelecom, Megafon, MTS, Tele2, Russian Post, Leroy Merlin, Moscow Exchange, National Settlement Depository.

The Ministry of Digital Development explained that the activities of these organizations do not meet the declared criteria for an IT company. The department clarified that only companies whose activities in the IT field are not the main ones have lost their status.

The Ministry of Digital Development has also suspended the acceptance of applications for the status of an accredited IT company. The department is developing a new procedure for accepting applications, after which their acceptance will resume.

The list of IT companies accredited by the Ministry of Digital Development includes more than 27 thousand organizations, including banks, insurance companies and social networks. These organizations and their employees may qualify for special benefits, including military deferment and preferential IT mortgages.
