Alive just introduced V29 5G, a new model that has been added to the catalog of mid-range mobile phones and will be launched first in Europe. The smartphone retains the characteristic elements of the V line and is positioned as a kind of big brother to the V29 Lite 5G, which we met and tested a few months ago.
Vivo V29 5G comes to fight in a segment that is full of alternatives today. And while its spec sheet isn’t the most powerful in the mid-range – and doesn’t claim to be – the really interesting thing about this phone is in the rear camera module.
The highlight of the Vivo V29 5G is aura light, a ring of light that accompanies the sensors located on the back of the smartphone. It measures 15.6mm in diameter and promises to be powerful enough to take high-quality photos even in very low or no light conditions.
According to the manufacturer, the area of light emission of Aura Light is 9 times higher than conventional flash. This provides more even illumination regardless of angle, helping to eliminate facial shadows and areas that are too dark. Vivo claims that the ring indicator on the V29 5G rear cameras is not trickbut a really useful tool. Despite this, the mobile phone does not rule out the standard flash.
And since the V29 5G’s forte is photography, Vivo makes sure its camera 50 megapixels with optical stabilization It is capable of delivering professional results and also uses intelligent color temperature adjustment technology. Added to the main sensor ultra wide of 8 MP and one of 2 MP for depth capture. Front camera for selfie it’s also 50 megapixels.
Vivo V29 5G: aiming to earn a place in the middle price range

Vivo V29 5G presented with AMOLED screen 6.78 inches with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and under the hood it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chip, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. An interesting point is that the mobile phone will offer the possibility extended RAM via softwarebeing able to “emulate” an additional 8 GB using the available storage space.
In terms of power management, Vivo V29 5G includes a battery 4600 mAh. Supports fast charging up to 80W, allowing you to charge from 1% to 50% in less than 20 minutes.
In terms of design, we are facing a smartphone that maintains the line already proven by the brand with a distinctive rectangle on the back for the camera module. It will be available in two colors: noble black (black and peak blue (blue).
The second stands out in particular because it was designed with innovative technology to create a look inspired by the mountaintop view. The Vivo V29 5G Peak Blue version was created using 15 million micron 3D magnetic particles technology, which allows you to see highlights and shadows in a very peculiar way depending on how the light hits it.
