Ticketscloud will add an appointments section to the Vibe ticketing app. With its help, guests at music festivals and other events will be able to “find friends, companionship and relationships based on common music preferences,” the company said in a press release.

In Russia, he launched a dating app for musical interests.

The feature will be tested during the Signal Festival from August 18-21. “Appointments” is linked to a specific event, the section is available only to ticket holders.

The message says that to register for Dating, the user must fill out a form, indicating the age and the Telegram ID. Visitors to the event will be able to write messages in the general feed and like each other.

“If the interest is mutual, users see each other’s Telegram ID and can switch to the messenger to communicate,” the press release states.

According to Ticketscloud, 85% of Signal Festival guests buy a ticket. The company believes that these people can become potential users of the dating service, since some of them can arrive alone at the event.

“Vibe already has community chats built around events. They often looked there for a company to go to the festival together or go to the after party. When we noticed that pattern, we decided to develop a convenient functionality that makes it easy to find like-minded people,” said Egor Egerev, CEO of Ticketscloud.

Last weekend, Moscow and St. Petersburg organized the VK Fest music festival, on the eve of which a similar function was tested on the VK Dating service.

Event guests could add the mark “I go to VK Fest” to the questionnaire in VK Dating to find a company to go to a concert and find friends with musical interests.
