According to the expert, in the last three generations there are noticeably more people with allergies, asthma and overweight in Russia. And this is influenced not only by ecology, but also by the fact that many children born by cesarean do not have the necessary microbiota and immune protection, as if they were passing through a woman’s natural birth canal.
And many such children are born, because cesarean section is used very often.
“Cesarean section was a rare operation in our grandparents’ time, and now about a third of children are born this way. This operation can save the life of the child, but is done without undue necessity. And then the child may have problems. If a woman does not pass through the birth canal, she will not receive the microbiota and microflora that she should receive. And without it, normal immunity does not occur. The doctor noted that children born by cesarean section are about two and a half times more likely to be asthmatic, allergic and overweight than children born naturally.
