An expert from the Benefit of NET channel on YouTube offered a review of a Chinese smartphone that was previously only available for purchase in China. This is the Realme Q5. The leading smartphone was in 6/128 GB configuration.

In the box with the smartphone, there is a transparent case, a USB Type-C cable and a 65W power supply.

The smartphone is also equipped with a headphone jack. As for the screen, it has an IPS matrix, a diagonal of 6.6 inches, Full HD + resolution, a good pixel density for a government employee (401 PPI), a maximum brightness of 600 nits. However, the screen refresh rate here goes up to 120 Hz. The presenter states that, overall, this display is very good.

Realme Q5 is powered by Snapdragon 695 processor. The device also has Android 12 update. In this case, the NFC module is missing. Benchmark test results are below.

The battery capacity of the Q5 is 5000 mAh. At maximum brightness and maximum refresh rate, the smartphone was able to work on PC Mark for 10 hours and 8 minutes. And he still had 20 percent of the fee.

The device charges up to 100 percent in 52 minutes from a “native” power source.

30 minutes after watching a YouTube video at peak brightness, an hour after playing Genshin Impact, the charge dropped by 6 percent – 29 percent. Moreover, Realme’s brightness did not dim during gameplay and the device did not get too hot.

As for the cameras, the main module has a resolution of 50 MP and a viewing angle of 77 degrees. There are also two additional lenses: a 2 MP telephoto (portrait lens) and a 2 MP macro lens. Video can only be recorded in Full HD 30fps at maximum. The front camera is 16 MP and has a viewing angle of 79.3 degrees. If you want to get a working smartphone and do not plan to take videos and photos, you can consider the Realme Q5. But if cameras are one of the highlights for you, then it is better to choose another device.
