The TelecomDaily agency named the fastest broadband providers in Moscow among the leading companies in terms of the number of subscribers.

The average speed increased by 30% to 117 Mbps in the second quarter of 2022 compared to the same period a year ago (89.7 Mbps). This result was an increase in network speed for the first two gears, while all four companies did not reach an average speed of 100 Mbps and above.

Average speeds Home Internet at the leaders:

one. MTS (MGTS): average download speed – 224.4 Mbps (March 2021 – 117 Mbps), average speed in the reverse channel – 185.9 Mbps (122 Mbps)

2. 2Kom (Almatel): average download speed – 180.4 Mbps (March 2021 – 97 Mbps), average speed in the reverse channel – 46.7 Mbps (103 Mbps)

3. MegaFon: average download speed – 94.8 Mbps, average speed in the reverse channel – 87 Mbps

four. Rostelecom: average download speed 92.7 Mbps (March 2021 – 84 Mbps), average speed in the return channel – 78 Mbps (88 Mbps)

5. Akado: average download speed – 61.9 Mbps (March 2021 – 73 Mbps), average speed in the return channel – 45.8 Mbps (66 Mbps)

6. Beeline: average download speed – 60 Mbps, average speed in the direct channel – 75 Mbps

Leaders in waiting speed MTS (MGTS) and 2Kom (Almatel) also spoke: 562.7 Mbps and 558.5 Mbps in the reverse channel and 380.7 Mbps and 467 Mbps in the reverse channel, respectively.
