Raja Koduri is doing a good job at Intel’s GPU arm, as The Register reports his promotion from senior vice president to vice president. Coderi was partially responsible for the release of the Intel Arc series.
“Under Raja’s leadership, we will continue to implement a multi-generation Xe architecture, which is the underlying technology to build the metadatabase and zetta-scale computing infrastructure,” Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger previously said.
Coderi previously spent over a decade at AMD, and then took a brief hiatus at Apple in AMD’s Radeon Technologies Group. In 2017, the American left for Intel’s Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics division. There he joined as vice president to advance Intel’s return to the GPU market.
