According to information released by City hall of Rio de Janeiro last Monday (15), their system crashed after a while hacker attack carried out in the early morning. The Municipal Information and Planning Corporation (IplanRio) is working to normalize the situation.
Town hall portal and platform carioca digital removed to prevent criminals from stealing saved data. The Taxi Rio app has also suffered from the attack, impacting service-dependent patients’ journey to healthcare facilities.
“The city government wants cariocas to be understood and emphasizes that the Iplan servers are working to minimize the impact and ensure that the system returns to normal as soon as possible”, published in an official note.
