Denon has announced a new soundbar, the DHT-S217. This model is distinguished by Dolby Atmos 3D, two downward-facing subwoofers built into it, while the soundbar is only 6.6 centimeters high. There are also dual midrange speakers and tweeters for high frequencies.
You can connect to the TV via HDMI with EARC or optical cable. The volume can be controlled with the TV remote control or the supplied remote control. Audio can also be played with a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth.
There are four different sound modes: movie, night, music and pure. The second mode disables all surround processing and other adjustments for the purest possible experience. Dialog Enhancer makes it possible to make dialogs in the content louder or softer without adjusting the overall volume.
The Denon DHT-S217 will be available from May with a suggested retail price of 269 Euros.
