A division of the Department of Financial Technologies of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation – Fintech Hub – together with the Russian Quantum Center (RCC) launched a free educational program on quantum technologies. This was reported to RB.RU in the press service of the RCC.

The training will be held in a hybrid format from September 26 to October 21, 2022. Students of Russian universities, specialists in the financial industry, as well as all interested parties, are invited to study quantum technologies to solve applied market problems. financial.

  • The theoretical module will be held online from September 26 to October 3, 2022. Experts will talk about fintech, payment infrastructure and financial services, as well as discuss ways to implement solutions based on quantum computing, quantum and post-quantum cryptography.

Candidates are not required to have knowledge of quantum physics; a basic understanding of information technology and analytical skills will suffice.

  • Then the 10 participants who will show the best results during the tests will be divided into two teams. Each one will prepare a research project in one of the application areas of quantum technologies.

The projects will be defended on October 21, 2022. As a result, the graduates will receive certificates from the University of the Bank of Russia for their participation in the program and the opportunity to develop their project ideas together with Fintech Hub experts to present their I work at conferences all over Russia.
