The legendary creator of water and jet flyboards Franky Zapata, despite the recent serious accident of his jetboard, intends to put another novelty on the wing – the JetRacer personal aircraft.

Its installation uses the old technology. We are talking about the Flyboard Air aircraft with a small jet turbine running on aviation kerosene, on which he managed (albeit with a landing) to overcome the English Channel. Unlike Flyboard Air, which is a backpack, JetRacer resembles a flying chair with ten dvimiwi.

The patented control system has significant advantages, equipping each engine with thrust vector control, which gave the aircraft maneuverability never seen before. Now he realizes the figure of the pilot, reminiscent of a “barrel”.

JetRacer, according to Zapata, will find application both in civilian and in global Europe. It can fly at speeds up to 250 kph, climb to a height of three kilometers and transport up to 200 kph.

Zapata and his company (Zapata) have not yet decided on the start of mass production and the price of their child – so far everything is limited to demonstration flights. However, today a call for volunteers has been announced who dare to fly the JetRacer. First, 100 people will be selected, later 25 of the best will be selected. They have to continue the work begun by the legendary “Flying Frenchman”.
