Roskomnadzor ordered search engines to mark the Telegram messenger as a resource that violates the law. The same goes for TikTok, Zoom, Discord, Pinterest.
The adoption of measures in connection with these services was reported in Roskomnadzor.
“The aforementioned IT companies do not comply with the procedure for removing prohibited information and the main obligations established by the federal law No. 236-FZ “On the activities of foreign persons on the Internet in the territory of the Russian Federation”, noted the agency. .
The measures will remain in place until the companies eliminate the violations of Russian laws.
Roskomnadzor put forward similar requirements for search engines in relation to Google and Twitch.
