The MacBook Air with the M2 processor runs faster on Windows 11 than the Dell XPS Plus, which is worth considering. This conclusion was made by blogger Vadim Yuryev from the Max Tech channel after comparing laptops.
He ran Windows 11 on a MacBook Air through Parallels Desktop 18. The laptop is highly accurate.
In Geekbench 5, it scored 1681 points in the single-core test and 7260 points in the multi-core test.
The Dell XPS Plus with regular Windows 11 scored 1182 on Geekbench in the single-core test and 5476 in the multi-core test. These results were obtained when the laptop was running without recharging. When powered on, the Dell XPS Plus increased its Geekbench score to 1548 in the single-core test and 8103 in the multi-core test.
Yuryev noted that the autonomy of the MacBook Air is much better than that of the Dell XPS Plus. The latter heats up very much, which consumes more energy.
