An expert from the YouTube channel “Teddy Reviewer” found out whether it makes sense to buy the iPhone 13 mini instead of the iPhone 12 mini and how big the difference really is. In general, these device models are considered the least sold out of both lines. At the same time, in the minimum configuration, the iPhone 13 mini offers 128 GB of persistent memory, and the iPhone 12 mini only 64 GB.
In terms of design, for the most part, the iPhone 13 mini and 12 mini differ from each other in the “bursts” and the location of the cameras.
Models also differ in battery capacity. iPhone 12 mini has only 2227 mAh, 13 mini – 2406 mAh. In reality, you are unlikely to find differences in autonomy.
Also, the screen on the iPhone 13 mini has become slightly brighter: 800 nits and 625 nits on the 12 mini. In terms of color reproduction, the 12th version’s screen is slightly warmer. Other features of these screens are the same.
In terms of cameras, there is no special difference between the devices. Both smartphones are equipped with two modules of 12 MP each, while ultra-wide and wide, they have 5x digital zoom. The devices can record 4K 60 fps video. It also doesn’t support 12 mini camera photo styles, nor does it have a cinema mode.
