MTS named the amounts for which it made its last two acquisitions. The operator bought the Bronevik hotel reservation service for 4 billion rubles, the developer of Webinar video communication systems – for 2.1 billion rubles.

MTS disclosed the amount of transactions for the purchase of Bronevik and Webinar

The operator announced both transactions in July: for the purchase of Bronevik on July 13, Webinar on July 20. In the same month, the deals were closed.

With the help of Bronevik, MTS plans to develop the business of organizing tourism. MTS Travel received 99% stake in the company, 1% – the main legal entity of MTS.

“MTS Travel” will become a kind of analogue of Booking that came out of Russia – it will provide services for booking hotels, buying tickets, ordering excursions, renting cars and others, MTS hopes.

On the basis of the webinar, MTS plans to create a Russian analogue of Zoom. The amount of the transaction amounted to 2.1 billion rubles, about the same amount that experts estimated even before the official disclosure of the amount.
