Odnoklassniki launched the first public video monetization program: all administrators of groups with video content will be able to earn money by displaying ads. This was reported to RB.RU in the press service of the social network.

Groups with more than 1,000 subscribers, who post videos longer than a minute, have at least one video with 10,000 views, and have at least 10,000 total video views in the last month are eligible to become members.
In addition, the video content must comply with the general rules of the OK monetization program, must be uploaded through the social network’s native video player, and must not violate copyright.
After moving to the monetization program, the group will receive revenue for each ad view on the video. In the personal account on the partner’s website, the author will be able to monitor the statistics and level of earnings. It will be calculated individually based on viewing depth and audience of viewers.
Video content on Odnoklassniki accumulates more than 700 million views per day, and the number of video downloads in the second quarter of 2022 increased by 11%, the social network reports.
