So what makes it possible to achieve a state of weightlessness in the terrestrial environment? To do this, you need the plane to fly in a certain way. After the plane reaches an altitude of 6 thousand meters, the pilots change the flight angle by 50 degrees until the plane gains an altitude of 7600 meters, and this gives the passengers a feeling of extreme gravity during the climb. But it only takes 20 seconds.

Next, the pilots switch to a parabolic maneuver. First of all, the speed of the liner decreases during the upward movement. This contributes to the fact that gravity eventually drops to zero and passengers feel they are in zero gravity. This maneuver takes only 22 seconds.

Next, the pilots try to get rid of the parabola. To do this, they tilt the front of the plane down 42 degrees. After 20 seconds the plane is parallel to the ground again. During a flight, pilots often manage to make several parabolas.

Such flights are carried out on private planes. And three people are managing at the same time. One is responsible for pitching of the ship, the other for yaw, and the third is responsible for engine speed and warning about accidents.

Parabolic flights are basically necessary to test space equipment in zero gravity, to conduct experiments. Ordinary people can take such flights, but they are expensive. During such a flight, passengers manage to stay in zero gravity for a total of about five minutes. However, the cost of this will be 6-8 thousand euros.
