It is known that hackers either disrupted the operation of nearly 100 sites or completely disabled some resources with DDoS attacks. In particular, the website of the Israeli publication Jerusalem Post was completely destroyed, and hacktivists also blocked the operation of the emergency notification application for Israeli residents.

At least two hacker organizations are known to be on the side of Hamas: AnonGhost and AnonymousSudan. They mention “hundreds” of websites blocked by the Israeli government, but do not provide any evidence.
