Russian hardware and server manufacturer Softline Computers has rebranded, the new brand is Inferit. He said so in a statement.
The changes will affect the entire product line. In changing the brand name, the company relied on market research, including an analysis of the opinions of customers, partners, and other market participants.
Inferit is made up of three parts: the preposition in (“in”), the abbreviation fer for ferrum (the chemical element “iron”), and the abbreviation IT (“information technology”).
“The name change was the result of a more comprehensive approach to brand positioning in the Russian market. The new name evokes positive associations among customers and will also simplify the marketing promotion of the products,” the company said in a statement.
The change of brand does not imply changes related to the provision of services. All conditions offered by Softline computers, including technical support, warranty service, remain unchanged.
Softline Computers is part of the international IT company Softline, it provides services for the individual assembly of computers, laptops, monoblocks, tablets, servers and data storage systems.
In July, it became known that Softline would divide its business in Russia and abroad. Two structures will be presented on the market: Softline Global and Softline Russia.
