Sleep expert Phil Lawlor has seven tips to help those who are currently in a stressful situation fall asleep.
-
Write down the problems you encountered and how you would solve them. For example, if you have problems with money, write down ways to help you deal with it. With this plan, stress levels should be reduced.
-
return to meditation. This is one of the most effective ways to reduce stress.
-
Don’t Forget Physical Activity. Like the previous lesson, sports effectively fight stress.
-
Follow a healthy diet. This will provide the body with additional energy, help regenerate cells and maintain a strong immune system. Try to eat less caffeine, energy drinks, spicy, acidic foods throughout the day so you don’t have trouble sleeping.
-
Drink herbal teas. Chamomile, mint, lemon balm tea will help improve sleep.
-
Keep your bedroom clean and tidy. If your room is not cleaned, it causes more cortisol (stress hormone) to be produced.
-
Reduce your workload. Try to talk about this with the manager or pass on some cases to others.
