In the first half of 2021, SpaceX launched a total of 20 satellites, a 50% increase over the whole of 2020. In the second half of the year, the company had two cuts, so only 11 more launches were made. SpaceX had six launches in four weeks by the end of the year.
For now, 2022 retains the launches of the last few weeks of 2021. The company has successfully completed 27 Falcon 9 launches in the first half of this year. To reach 100 launches, SpaceX will need to find a way to launch an average of eight rockets per month. This is 33% more than now.
