The fact is that during the turn all the water is directed towards the equator, and if there is no sudden turn, dry zones will appear on the equator, and the south and north will be flooded.
And the problem isn’t just water. Because the planet’s surface is made up of plates floating on hot magma, stopping the Earth’s rotation would cause the Earth to begin to break apart. Volcanic eruptions can also begin.
Also, the largest air currents move according to the rotation of our planet. Therefore, tsunami humanity will wait not only water, but also air.
Also, when the Earth stops, the time of day will be fixed. On the dark side of the planet, all plants and animals will perish. But the good news is that all living things can burn. If the ozone layer is also destroyed, the Sun will turn red very strongly. A very strong wind will blow, as it will be hot on one side and cold on the other.
All these together will destroy all life on earth.
