Technology blogger Alexei Ignatiev compared the two best fitness bracelets on his YouTube channel: Huawei Band 7 and Xiaomi Mi Band 7. He also compared test results with those of the Apple Watch.

The first criterion by which the specialist compares devices is cost and charging power. In Russia, Huawei Band 7 can be bought for about 3.5 thousand rubles, and Xiaomi Mi Band 7 (global version) – a little less than 3 thousand rubles on AliExpress.

You get a charging cable with Xiaomi. The same goes for Huawei. However, Mi Band 7 also charges slower than the competitor: fully – in 1 hour 52 minutes, Band 7 – 54 minutes. As for autonomy, Huawei has shown itself better again. After working for 7 days, 10 percent of its charge remained, but Xiaomi was completely discharged during this time. At the same time, the battery capacity of Mi Band 7 is 180 mA.h, Band 7 also has 180 mAh. With the Always On Display on, on the third day both devices went completely blank.

The screen of the Huawei Band 7 is wider in itself, while the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 is slightly narrower. At the same time, it is more convenient to read the text, of course, in the first. However, one of the advantages of Xiaomi is that it basically shows more information on the screen and does not slow down when scrolling through a message.

At the same time, the maximum brightness of the screen is actually almost the same for both models. It is 400 cd/m2 for Xiaomi and 367 cd/m2 for Huawei. However, when you turn your hand from Xiaomi, the screen lights up a little faster. At the same time, Xiaomi also has a little more PWM.

As for the interface, it is generally similar for Huawei Band 7 and Xiaomi Mi Band 7. However, if with Huawei you can monitor the weather hourly, then Xiaomi does not have such a function.

There is also a slight difference in the operation of the Always On Display function. On Xiaomi, when you turn your hand, the dial will open automatically while Huawei has a splash screen. You have to touch the screen or press the button to go to the last dial.

In general, there is no significant difference between Huawei Band 7 and Xiaomi Mi Band 7 in terms of heart rate measurement, blood oxygen level, number of steps and sleep analysis. Similarly, the results are almost identical when compared to Huawei Band 7, Xiaomi Mi Band 7 and Apple Watch. It is also the fastest device in terms of measuring oxygen levels, followed by the Apple Watch, followed by Xiaomi and then Huawei, but the Mi Band 7 somehow overestimates the number of steps taken, and the Huawei Band 7 is more accurate. If we talk about the accuracy of measurements in general, then the leader in any case is the Apple Watch. You can see all the dimensions above.
