The new iPhone 14 Pro Max lasted two hours longer than the 13 Pro Max in the Tom’s Guide battery test.

The iPhone 14 Pro Max ran for 14 hours and 42 minutes, while the 13 Pro Max ran out of battery in 12 hours and 16 minutes. In the Tom’s Guide acoustics rating, the new iPhone took second place, behind only Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro.

In the process of testing, the iPhone 14 Pro Max was discharged by 30% in 5 hours with a normal collection.

After charging close to 90%, after using the smartphone from 13:00 to 18:00 to work in applications, share music and view photos and videos, the battery was only drained to 60%.

In terms of charging, the iPhone 14 Pro Max goes from 0 to 42% in an hour, although Apple promises that the battery will charge up to 50% in this time.

The iPhone 14 Pro Max showed good autonomy, despite the fact that its battery capacity is slightly less than that of the 13 Pro Max. This was achieved thanks to the A16 processor, which is more energy efficient than the A15, and a new OLED screen that can reduce the rotational speed to 1 Hz. [Tom’s Guide]
