Instagram has become one of the social networks currently most commonly usedthe most recently ousted TikTok, and which, for better or worse, has become the focus of young users’ daily lives.
This platform that allows us to share photos, videos, videos or stories, changed the way modern users approach their daily lives and how they share it through the app.
For various reasons, it may be necessary or interesting to download content from a computer, for convenience or, above all, for the quality of the content itselfsince it is handled differently when downloaded from a computer, at least with Android (worst quality it offers by far).
Today we will teach how to upload content to this platform using our Windows or Mac OS computer or from the browser itself.
The first way, and quite official, is through the Instagram website, because already in October 2021, support for downloading content from it was added to it. This is the way fastest and best.
For both platforms, another way to allow us to post content to Instagram would be using an android emulator, such as BlueStacks, are the most famous ones. This emulator will allow us install the official app and use it as if it were our android device.
In turn, we can also use mobile view in google chromewhich is activated by pressing the F12 key after opening the Instagram website and in the upper right we can find a small icon with two devices which, once activated, activates the mobile view.
If you are a Windows user, there are other ways to post content to Instagram, namely through the official Microsoft Store app, which is mobile application port.
If you are a Mac OS user, you can download content using safari developer console load the mobile version of the website in the browser. To do this, we just have to enable the developer options and in the Develop panel we will find an option called “Agent” which we must put in “Safari iOS XX – iPhone”.
We hope you found these instructions helpful if posting content to Instagram via computer is good for you, and if the platform expands content sharing soon, we’ll be here to tell you about it.
