That’s why Framework and Google teamed up to release a modular laptop Framework Notebook Chromebook Edition. Buyers will be able to choose from a variety of modules, ports and locations.

For example, optional USB Type-C, USB Type-A, microSD, HDMI, DisplayPort, Ethernet, etc. It will be possible to install. At the same time, more familiar features such as expanding RAM and nonvolatile memory will remain.

Framework Laptop Chromebook Edition reportedly gets a 13.5-inch display with a resolution of 2256 × 1504 pixels. It is based on the 12th generation Intel Core i5-1240P processor. The laptop is running Chrome OS.

Starting price is $999, deliveries are scheduled for December 2022.
