Google has announced a new line of smartphones Pixel 7.
The Pixel 7 has a slightly smaller 6.3-inch 1080p screen compared to the Pixel 6’s 6.4-inch display. Google also says the bezels are smaller compared to the Pixel 6. The display refresh rate is 90Hz.
The Pixel 7 Pro has a 6.7-inch 1440p LTPO display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, just like the 6 Pro.
Both devices are powered by the Tensor G2 processor. The Pixel 7 has 8GB of RAM, while the Pixel 7 Pro has 12GB. There is a fingerprint scanner for scanning. Machine learning tasks on smartphones are 60% faster and 20% more efficient. The dedicated Titan M2 chip is responsible for security.
Novelties work “more than 24 hours” at the usual collection. The capacity of the regular version is 4355 mAh, while the firmware has 5000 mAh. There is an Extreme Battery Saver mode that increases autonomy up to 72 hours. Supports 30W fast charging.
The Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro continue to use the 50MP camera introduced with the Pixel 6. Only now a 2x camera has been added, working similarly to the iPhone 14 Pro.
The Pixel 7 also has a 106° ultra-wide-angle sensor, while the 7 Pro also comes with a 10.8MP telephoto module.
Google will release security updates for five years. All buyers will have access to the VPN service within Google One for free.
