After the terrorist attacks in Washington, Apple and Google removed Parler from their stores, the social network site was blocked by Amazon.
Parler was later brought back to stores by Apple and Google after the social network agreed to secure post moderation. The Parler site was restored in 2021.
The news about the purchase of Parler came a week after Kanye West was banned from Twitter and Instagram* (*banned in Russia, Meta, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation).
