The Royal Caribbean cruise company, one of the three largest in the world, has stopped accepting travel orders from Russian legal entities. The company explained this by the impossibility of doing “normal business” in Russia due to sanctions.

The Royal Caribbean cruise company stopped booking tours for Russian legal entities

Royal Caribbean announced the end of accepting applications for RBC tours.

The restriction applies only to Russian legal entities, that is, partners of the holding company, it does not apply to natural persons. The company clarified that partners can continue to serve existing orders.

Royal Caribbean noted that it had become impossible to conduct “normal business” in Russia due to sanctions against financial institutions, business structures and individuals.

The organizations that are part of the Royal Caribbean holding company own more than 50 cruise ships. The company cruises to Europe, the US, Canada, Asia, Australia, Africa, as well as the Caribbean, Bermuda, and the Bahamas.

Other large international companies have previously made a similar decision. Costa Cruises explained that Russian citizens will be able to book a tour only if they have a residence permit in another country, and also if they buy a ticket that is not from a Russian travel agency.
