Now it’s official, CMON, international publisher of board games and miniatures, but for some time also of comics and role-playing games, will be present at Lucca Comics & Games 2022, interpreting the concept of transmedia in the best possible way and presenting an unprecedented offer to the large community . For the occasion, a 100 square meter monographic pavilion will be set up in Piazza San Giusto with play areas and spaces to present the editorial news.
Among others: the Italian preview of Marvel Zombies – A Zombicide Game (which has raised more than $9 million on Kickstarter), set in an alternate Marvel universe where players face hordes of infected superheroes with a graphic design composed entirely by Italian Marco Checchetto, one of the leading artists of the contemporary superhero comics;
Cyberpunk 2077: Gangs of Night Cityofficial board game in which the player controls one of the gangs that divide Night City, aiming to collect the highest loot in Street Cred;
The comic Zombie Comics and Games which tells of a Lucca struggling with a zombie attack in the middle of the festival;
Dune: War for Arrakisa strategy game from the movie of the same name that will project you into an incredibly exciting experience in the universe created by Frank Herbert;
for lovers of the horror genre here Cthulhu: Death can diecooperative game in which the researchers/players must eradicate the supernatural threat that looms over each game.
Room also for the world of role-playing games with Zombicide: Chronicles where you can create a Survivor and prepare for the apocalypse in the harsh world of Zombicide.
Younger players will have a lot of fun with Marvel United X-menfast and fun card game and miniatures, where in the role of Marvel heroes it will be necessary to stop challenging threats, but also the official titles dedicated to Scooby Doo and Looney Toons.
CMON will therefore bring some gems from its catalog to the gaming capital of the West, and many activities, to satisfy the most attentive and demanding game enthusiasts.
Anyone visiting the CMON Pavilion can try out the games on display, including The Boys Zombicide Packs, Batman Metal, Iron Maiden, Thundercats, and Supernatural.
In addition, visitors will receive the exclusive Zombie Comics and Games comic, written by Stefano Vietti and Michele Monteleone and drawn by Marco Itri, which imagines a Lucca Comics & Games invaded by zombies.
Authors, artists and designers alternate in the CMON Pavilion for five days, in addition to the aforementioned Marco Checchetto, Adrian Smith, Paolo Parente, Paul Bonner, Dany Orizio, Giancarlo Olivares, Stefano Moroni and the miniature painters Fabrizio Russo and Mike McVey , one of CMON’s artistic directors of sculpture.
