Production will begin at the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant in early 2023. It is noted that the specialists of the corporate developer of the pistol went to Izhevsk to organize an architectural audit.

An RIA Novosti source said that there are already three batches of Udav pistols in the army at the moment, but they have not yet been officially accepted. And such experience existed already in Soviet times, when the Nonu weapon was first tested in Afghanistan, and then the weapon was officially put into service.
