AirConsole provides games over the Internet and control is done using smartphones. A library of over 180 games like GoKart Go Air, Mega Monster Party and Let’s Cook Together isn’t exactly “heavy”.

Publisher Bilal Mahmood said in a letter to The Verge that the AirConsole will first appear on the new BMW 7 Series because it’s the automaker’s only current car that can run games. This suggests that some existing cars with the new curved display, such as the iX XDrive 50, will not receive games via over-the-air updates, but that doesn’t rule out the possibility of hardware upgrades.

Mahmoud said that new BMW vehicles with the latest equipment delivered next year will receive the AirConsole.
