Apple Inc. did not challenge the Arbitration Court’s decision to impose a $12 million fine on FAS in the case of restricting competition in the AppStore application market.

Apple Inc. did not challenge the court’s decision to impose a $12 million fine

“Leave the court decision unchanged, the complaint unsatisfied,” says the case file on the court’s website.

On April 27, 2021, the Federal Antimonopoly Service found the US corporation guilty of committing an administrative offense and ordered it to pay a fine.

In 2019, Kaspersky Lab accused Apple Inc. of unreasonably rejecting versions of the Kaspersky Safe Kids (KSK) parental control program.

Subsequently, in 2020, the FAS ordered Apple to remove documentation provisions that allow third-party developers to refuse to publish apps to the AppStore.

The corporation disagreed with the department’s decision and announced plans to appeal it.

Earlier, a Moscow court fined Apple 2 million rubles for refusing to locate the data of Russian citizens.
